Hajj is an obligatory act of worship in Islam. It is obligatory to perform once in a whole life of a Muslim. Although it is an obligatory practice yet Allah has provided us with the option of performing it only when you can afford it. It has to be performed on one specific time of a year. Muslims always dream of completing this obligatory act. There are people whom Allah chooses to call them to the Holy city for performing Hajj. Such luckiest people are often provided with the opportunity of taking their children to Hajj. They are even more blessed ones. When they take their children with them, they need to consider some important points in order not to make their Holy trip problematic.
The first thing that you have to consider and should not forget is to get your kid fully ready to perform Hajj. All necessary Duas and Salaat should be taught. This will make kids perform Hajj with convenience by not bothering you for not knowing the necessary Duas.
You need to consult a doctor about the possible diseases that can be caught by the kids from the foreign environment. Some infections are specific to certain regions. The doctor would recommend you with all the necessary vaccination that your kids need to receive.
While packing your luggage you need to consider that the clothes putting in your luggage are best suitable regarding weather. Apart from the weather, you must also take into account that the clothes in which children feel comfortable should be packed into your luggage. This makes the whole trip convenient for kids.
The medication that is recommended by a doctor with his prescription should also be packed. You better know about the diseases that your kids catch easily or the ones that they are suffering from. According to this, you do not have to miss any of the medicines.
You need to have a bag that can hang down from the shoulder and is not likely to fall. In this bag, all the items that are necessary for kids should be put. This is to make sure that you are not going to run back again and again to your place of accommodation. This makes your Hajj easy and hassle-free.
During Tawaaf or any other rite due to crowding, there is a possibility that the kids may go out of your sight or be lost. For avoiding this hold their hand or buy particular bands that are available to be worn on your and kid’s hand they are connected by spring. This makes sure that your kid is with you.
A water bottle should be in your small bag. Kids are likely to get dehydrated very soon so you need to provide them with water in small intervals. These points are quite helpful for you to consider other than them; your focus must be on the obligatory act performed for Allah.
