It has been the day in which is the pilgrims who perform the pilgrimage or hajj have to get together on the spot of the mountain plain of Arafah. Once they reached at the plain, they have to engage in the activity of the praying, and the seeking of the pleasure of the Almighty Allah. The day of the Arafah has to be considered to be imperative in the Islamic terms as this below-mentioned ayah was sent to the Holy Prophet PBUH:
Arafah was the Day on which Allah perfected His religion, completed His favours upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and approved Islam as a way of life!
As the matter of the fact, this is the day in which the Allah swore of the day of the Arafah in the important surah in the name of the Surah al Burooj that raised the importance of the Day for the Muslims Believers who are the part of the religion of the Islam. It has been mentioned that the Allah Almighty swears in this surah only of the Holy Quran which increased the importance of this surah as being the great and the significant. One of the important things you can do while heading towards the plain the Arafah, it has been mentioned that the fasting has been encouraged as far as the hadith and the Holy Quran is concerned.
As the pilgrim, you have to read and recite the below-mentioned surah in the day of the arafah so it can be called as the Dua of the Arafah.
“There is nothing that deserves to be worshiped in truth except Allaah, He is Alone and has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is All-Powerful over all things.'” (Muwatta)
